Great Job, Team!

(Pics to come)
Great job on the day in the life media, everyone! Becky and her kiddos did a great job as Jon's loving family as well along with David Morgan, Phil McMartin, Aaron Preston (welcome back!), Sarah Baker, Andrew Fletcher, and Julie Smith as Jon's co-workers/bosses. Jon did a great job of capturing the "game of life" and how it can all feel a little like trying to score points as opposed to living in the grace of God.

And of course, we all loved seeing Albert's awesome mini-cooper! : )

Turning Point Dramas, Round 2!

Join me in welcoming a great new star to the team! Ryan Lutz just joined the team and is starring in our turning point dramas for kids on Tuesday nights. Between Ryan and Josh, the future of the drama team is looking bright! Brad Miller who played Bowser in our Mario drama is a great King David who sounds a little bit like Sean Connery (but with a Brad twist, of course)! Janell Martin is doing an excellent job directing these dramas as well! Yay team! Turning Point All Stars is an awesome ministry that teaches kids how to deal with their feelings and brings bible stories to life in a relatable, teachable way. What a privilege for the drama team to play a small part in this awesome ministry and in the lives of these amazing kids!

And it's just so you guys to have a volunteer celebration weekend where we sure have a lot of volunteers serving! Monday night, we had four rehearsals going on simultaneously with the weekend drama, Heir force room drama, Penguin Room Drama and Steph's puppet team! You won't want to miss this weekend. (Mark Beeson and the weekend drama cast are all stepping a bit out of our comfort zones and it's all to celebrate you and what God has done in and through all of You!) Stop by the great room downstairs if you get a chance to cheer on your teammates who will be down there wondering "What did we just do?!" (You'll have to come to understand!) Here's who our weekend stars will be:

Welcome to the Family, Brinn!

Lauren got to go to her very first weddding! We are so happy for Dustin. Some of you may not know, but Dustin is our Programming Director (in addition to rockin' out on his guitar like the edge from U2). So if you've ever experienced or been a part of one of those unforgettable awe-inspiring God moments in a service, it was probably touched by Dustin Maust. He is a great example of the joy of Christ. I've had the privilege to work with Dustin for about nine months now, and he truly oozes with joy and Christ's love. His new wife Brinn is equally sweet and amazing. We hope you will get a chance to introduce yourself and help us welcome her to the Creative Arts family! As you can see from the pics, Lauren had a great time with the Vukmirovich girls, her Aunt Sarah who recently joined the OPA team of actors, and the beautiful heiress of the media department, Sammy Petersen. We have a great family of artists we get to serve with, so I wanted to share this experience with the rest of the "fam' (you) who might not have been able to make it!

And Happy Mommy's day tomorrow to all the moms in the fam! : )
